How to become a commercial pilot

A commercial pilot is a trained professional who is eligible to fly passenger flights for a commercial airline.

To become a commercial pilot, you have to get a commercial pilot license from the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.

In this process you have to pass class 12th Physics, Maths and Chemistry with 55%. You should have good score in English also

Your minimum age should be 17 years and you must also be medically fit

After fulfilling this criteria, you will have to take admission in CPL course.

The duration of the CPL course is 8 to 12 months, with 80 hours of academic sessions and 200 hours of flying training.

After completing this course, the candidate will have to complete training for minimum six months and maximum one year.

When you pass this course, then you will get CPL i.e. Commercial Pilot License.
